Ed Sheeran has set yet another milestone, topping 500 millions streams of his smash hit "Thinking Out Loud" on Spotify!

In a Spotify Insights release, Sheeran said "Chuffed to hear that "Thinking Out Loud" has had half a billion plays on Spotify. Being the first artist to hit that milestone is amazing. Thanks to all the people who use this as a wedding song, soundtrack to a date, and as a way to woo someone into a netflix-and-chill situation."

Sheeran's the number 2 highest streamed artist on Spotify just behind Eminem with an astonishing 2.9 billion overall song streams! He's also the third most listened to artist worldwide, behind The Weeknd and Calvin Harris, with 19 million listeners each month!
