The 2014 People’s Choice Awards are right around the corner. This year the people have spoken, and they’ve unanimously selected some of Atlantic Records’ top artists to lead the nominations. Check out some of this year’s nominees and be sure to tune into the awards show on January 8th at 9pm ET/PT on CBS! 

Bruno Mars

Nominations: Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Pop Artist, Favorite Song (“When I Was Your Man”)

Bruno Mars followed up the success of his album debut Doo-Wops & Hooligans with the release of the critically acclaimed Unorthodox Jukebox. Featuring key singles such as “Locked out of Heaven”, “Treasure” and “When I Was Your Man”, Unorthodox Jukebox has garnered the praise of fans and industry-insiders alike.

Icona Pop

Nomination: Favorite Breakout Artist

With the breakout success of their debut single “I Love It”, the Swedish duo Icona Pop has settled into the hearts of American audiences, gaining them a People’s Choice award nomination in the process. The two collaborated with Atlantic Records artist Charlie XCX to pen the hit. Be sure to check out their new album This Is…  Icona Pop on iTunes.

Paramore

Nominations: Favorite Band, Favorite Alternative Band

Paramore helps round out the nominations for Atlantic Records. The band released its fourth studio album entitled Paramore to much excitement and fanfare. Fueled by the success of the single “Still Into You”, the group had given radio a new sound to broadcast and listeners are pleased with what they hear.
