Skillet's brand new record "Awake" has also sold over 200K copies in 12 weeks, while their single "Monster" is all over the Billboard Top 10, MTV2 and FUSE. Skillet’s explosive live show is now available to take home! The band has just released a live concert CD and DVD combo, COMATOSE COMES ALIVE. This is the first live project for the band in their 12 year history. COMATOSE COMES ALIVE features songs from their 2006 release COMATOSE, their 2003 best-selling CD COLLIDE, and more.

In follow up to a spring ’07 tour with FlyLeaf, and fall ’07 with Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace, this winter Skillet played to over 300,000 on Winter Jam, and in the spring launched their own theater tour, during which this footage was garnered at the Tivoli Theater in Chattanooga. Skillet’s electric live show was also a highlight of numerous summer festivals.

The CD of COMATOSE COMES ALIVE includes the full live concert audio plus six enhanced acoustic versions and bonus tracks, while the DVD, recorded in 5.1 surround sound audio, includes the full live concert plus four music videos and a photo gallery of live shots.

Hey guys,
I am hanging out in the hotel in Bakersfield. I had a great show last night, thanks to everyone who came out! All of you were amazing. I love coming to Cali, It's so beautiful! We've been here the last couple weeks for different shows. I'm thinking about moving here.

So there isn't a Starbucks around the area that I can walk to so I made coffee in the lobby and added hot chocolate. It's pretty good. I think I invented this drink. It's pretty brilliant.

So summer is here, even though at home in Wisconsin, it is still cold. This summer is going to be good. I Can't wait to get back to some of our favorite festivals: Creation, Cornerstone and Ichthus. These have become our home away from home during the summer every year. We would love to see all the crazy panheads braving the 10000000 degree weather to come watch our show. I have to say, you are all more dedicated, than I ever was as a Skillet fan before I joined the band. And I was a big fan back then. It is a funny thought, I was 12 years old when the band started in '96. I used to go to small club shows that the band played, thinking, I want to be in a band like that someday. God works in amazing ways! I think Jen was just born when Skillet started. Thats cool though, she keeps the average age of band members low, that's actually why we got her.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hey. Ive got a couple videos Im trying to post but myspace is being weird. So as soon as they get their bugs worked out, you will have 3 minutes of entertainment. You can just watch them 10 times in a row, and it will be like watching a sitcom.

The Grammy Award-nominated rock outfit will join forces with Flyleaf on its upcoming 'Justice & Mercy' tour, slated to traverse America through the spring. Hot on the heels of 2003’s best-seller COLLIDE, which launched Skillet meteorically into the mainstream with the hit single 'Savior', touring with Three Days Grace, Saliva, Shinedown, and 12 Stones, plus a prestigious nomination at the 47th Annual Grammy Awards, Atlantic/Lava and Ardent/SRE will unleash the new album COMATOSE on October 3rd, 2006.

'We’ve been proud of where we’ve been in the past, but I feel like this is our strongest record,' notes vocalist/bassist John Cooper, citing the band’s recent completion of the COMATOSE sessions at Chicago Recording Company (Smashing Pumpkins, Michael Jackson, R.
