DRAMA: Drama Helps Feed the Streets, Introduces 'Mr. Thanksgiving' Turkey Challenge

Atlanta’s streets will not be safe for the likes of hunger this holiday season, as Drama partners with Hosea Feed the Hungry (HFTH) and all of the Radio One-Atlanta stations (Hot 107.9, Majic 107.5/97.5 and Praise 102.5) for the first annual Turkey Challenge. This challenge will make a real difference and help HFTH purchase 3,000 turkeys that will feed the thousands of working poor and homeless in Atlanta and the Southeast.

To reach this goal, all of the Radio One Atlanta stations – along with Drama, and other on-air personalities and celebrities – will host radio call-ins all day on November 16, 2009 challenging celebrities and the community to bring financial contributions to help purchase turkeys. This event will air LIVE on all of the Radio One Atlanta stations from South Dekalb Mall asking Atlantans to give back to the community this holiday season.

DRAMA: Drama Already Working On Third Gangsta Grillz Album

"I got songs that didn't make this one that's already on deck," Drama says of the GANGSTA GRILLZ: THE ALBUM VOL. 2 LP, which dropped last Tuesday. "It's going crazy, man," Dram told us about his promo tour. "Different city every day. I'm taking over every radio station I go to. Doing the club thing at night. I'm out here working heavy."

In addition, Drama is readying album number three as we speak. "We're already in motion on that," he said of the third Gangsta Grillz LP. "I have a classic Philly song that didn't make this album that will definitely be on the next one. I really wish it would have made this album, but it didn't due to constraints and clearances. DRAMA: Drama DJ's on 106 & Park TONIGHT and Friday!

Drama can be seen spinning on two upcoming installments of BET’s 106 & Park, slated for Wednesday, May 20th and Friday, May, 22nd, starting at 6pm EST on BET. What’s more, he will be DJing at T.I.’s hugely anticipated farewell concert, set for this Sunday, May 24th, at Atlanta’s Philips Arena.

Dram also had some words to say about his new album GANGSTA GRILLZ: THE ALBUM VOL. 2. "This album broadens the movement and just brings good music to the table,” Drama said. “With the albums, mixtapes and artists, I’m keeping the music alive for those who are coming up under us and representing hip-hop. I don’t want to make it too complicated. It’s just about giving everybody something to ride to and giving them what they want.”

Well-known Southern deejay and Historically Black University and College (HBCU) alumnus DJ Drama and Kentucky Fried Chicken Pride 360 will team up to show their school spirit by sponsoring two HBCU homecoming games this fall. This sponsorship will consist of a Show Your Pride promotion as well as an ultimate tailgate party before Norfolk State's homecoming game (Saturday, Oct. 25) and Tennessee State s homecoming game (Saturday, Nov. 1).
