A ROCKET TO THE MOON UNVEILS DEBUT ALBUM

Fueled By Ramen recording group A Rocket To The Moon has announced the upcoming release of their much-anticipated debut album. "ON YOUR SIDE" arrives in stores and at all online retailers on October 13th.

Pre-orders for "ON YOUR SIDE" begin today at the Fueled By Ramen webstore, located at store.arockettothemoon.net. In addition to the standard CD release, the album will be available in a deluxe package including an exclusive ARTTM t-shirt and 20 limited edition postcards. A Rocket To The Moon premiered the first track from the album, "Annabelle," on their MySpace page; while "Mr. Right," the album's first single, will follow online and at the iTunes Store on September 15th. A companion video clip for "Mr. Right" is currently in pre-production.

A Rocket To The Moon has slated a busy tour schedule to trumpet the album's release. First up will be a headlining run alongside The Summer Set, kicking off October 2nd at Hartford, Connecticut's Webster Underground (see attached itinerary). From there, they will join the "OP Presents: Boys Like Girls, Cobra Starship, The Maine, A Rocket To The Moon and VersaEmerge" tour. The dates begin October 14th at Buffalo's Rapids Theatre, and continue through a two-night-stand at Foxboro, Massachusetts' Showcase Live on November 27th and 28th.

"ON YOUR SIDE" follows last year's acclaimed Fueled By Ramen debut, "GREETINGS FROM..." The EP was highlighted by the singles "If Only They Knew" and "Dakota," the latter of which ARTTM performed live on MTV's TRL as part of a feature on America's best unsigned bands.

The brainchild of Braintree, Massachusetts-based songwriter/musician Nick Santino, A Rocket To The Moon has toured virtually non-stop since the EP's release, sharing bills with an array of artists, including 3OH!3, The Maine, The Cab, Cute Is What We Aim For, Secondhand Serenade, Hey Monday, This Providence, and Hit The Lights. ARTTM has proven a MySpace favorite, now with over 26 million streams and counting.
