WHILE VIDEO SCORES ON FUSE'S NO. 1 COUNTDOWN;
DEBUT ALBUM AND FIERY LIVE SHOWS REAP CRITICAL ACCLAIM,

"HOTTEST CHICKS IN METAL" ISSUE, DUE IN OCTOBER
Atlantic recording group Halestorm has announced a full slate of live dates that will keep the acclaimed hard rock outfit on the road through mid-October. Among the schedule's highlights is a series of shows supporting Chevelle, set to kick off September 14th at the Orbit Room in Grand Rapids, Michigan (see attached itinerary).
Halestorm has just finished traveling the U.S. as part of the "Stimulate This!" tour, a four-band bill - which also featured Atlantic labelmates Shinedown and Staind, plus the aforementioned Chevelle - designed to offer fans maximum value at a minimal price. The coming weeks will see Halestorm reteaming with Shinedown for a pair of shows, set for September 10th at Baltimore's Power Plant Live and September 11th at the National in Richmond, Virginia.
Halestorm will also be among the star-studded line-ups performing at two big radio concerts: 105.7 The X's "X-Treme Homecoming Party" at the Toyota Grandstand at the York Fair in York, Pennsylvania on September 12th and 103.9 The X's "X-Fest 2K9" at Dayton, Ohio's Montgomery County Fairgrounds on September 13th. From there, Halestorm will headline a September 15th multi-band bill of their own at Flint, Michigan's Machine Shop; support acts will be unveiled soon. Additional tour dates will be announced shortly.
"HALESTORM" made a top 5 debut on SoundScan's "Hard Music" chart upon its release earlier this year, simultaneously exploding into the top 40 on the comprehensive Billboard 200. Produced by Howard Benson (Daughtry, My Chemical Romance, Flyleaf), the album is a volatile collection of infectious hard rock anthems, sexy hooks, and rough and tumble grooves. Steering this runaway train is dynamic singer/guitarist Lzzy Hale, who brings a hypnotic intensity to such tracks as the sensual "I Get Off," which is currently a top 10 favorite at Active Rock radio outlets nationwide.
In addition, the "I Get Off" companion video is now in rotation at FUSE, where it has been a summer staple on the network's popular No. 1 Countdown. A new video, for the song "Love/Hate Heartbreak," has just been posted at Halestorm's newly re-launched website, www.halestormrocks.com.
Halestorm has been garnering intensive press attention in recent months, with Lzzy now set to appear alongside Landmine Marathon's Grace Perry on the cover of Revolver's upcoming "Hottest Chicks in Metal" issue, due to arrive on newsstands everywhere on October 20th. Artist Direct recently waxed rhapsodic over the band's performance at The Roxy in Los Angeles, declaring, "There is nothing more invigorating or inspiring than watching a band on the rise that has it. It is the inexplicable quality that all legends possess. It is swagger, sex appeal, soul and, of course, songs. It's that ability to make a crowd go absolutely crazy...Halestorm has it."
"HALESTORM" has also been embraced by critics around the world. Mix decreed the album to be "rock ‘n' roll at its finest," while Kerrang! praised the band's frenetic live performance, raving, "Halestorm's delivery and songs are nothing short of note-perfect and instantly memorable, and if they don't become incredibly massive immediately, there's something very wrong with the world."
Formed in 1998 by Lzzy and her brother, drummer Arejay Hale, Halestorm has made its bones as a major league hard rock outfit via countless North American gigs alongside such like-minded artists as Shinedown, Seether, Flyleaf, and Trapt. 2006 saw the release of Halestorm's debut Atlantic EP, "ONE AND DONE," which expertly captured the intensity and energy of the band's live show.
