If you’ve ever seen Melanie Martinez on The Voice then you know she can truly sing; but there’s something to be said about seeing such a powerful voice in person. Regardless of the Lolita-esque stage set-up full of stuffed animals, a backup band complete with adult onesies and her love of toys as background instruments, Melanie proves to anyone who manages to see her perform live that her vocals and stage presence are anything but child-like.
This was the last stop on Melanie’s Dollhouse Tour and her only hometown date! The native New Yorker played to a packed house full of fans, friends and family at NYC's Marlin Room at Webster Hall. Melanie sang a mix of hits off her debut Dollhouse EP, some covers ranging from our own Marina and the Diamonds to Beyoncé (each with their own Melanie twist), as well as some new songs that fans loved!
It’s clear that Melanie has big things in store and, with a full length album on the way, fans won’t have to wait too long to get more of her!
