The "Greatest Hits" of Zac Brown Band (So Far)

On Monday, November 10th, Zac Brown Band released their first career anthology, Greatest Hits So Far..., featuring 11 of their #1 country hits. Zac Brown sat down with Rolling Stone to talk about this incredible milestone. "It was six and a half years ago that we started on the radio, and it's amazing that we had 11 Number One songs [since then]."

To celebrate the release of Greatest Hits So Far... we're taking a look back at some of the band's best moments through the years.

A Little Bit of "Chicken Fried" Goes A Long Way

Originally recorded in 2003, "Chicken Fried" was re-recorded and released on country radio in 2008. The band's debut album, The Foundation, was released in November with "Chicken Fried" as its first single. The song reached No. 1 on the country charts within a month and became an instant classic.

... All The Way to the GRAMMYs

Though the band was hardly "new" in 2010, winning the award for Best New Artist at the GRAMMYs was a huge honor and a defining moment. Zac Brown celebrated the award, saying, "We didn't plan on winning anything. To be recognized on this level is insane. It's surreal."

You Get What You Give Gets What it Deserves

The band's 2010 album You Get What You Give debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums charts. Zac Brown told TheBoot.com, "it's just getting ridiculous at this point, all the milestones that keep coming to us, and this is such a tremendous one. It's an amazing blessing."

A Collaborative Effort

Zac Brown Band and Alan Jackson received the GRAMMY for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals for "As She's Walking Away" off of the band's album You Get What You Give. The song also reached No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart.

Uncaged Hits the GRAMMY Stage

The band received their 3rd GRAMMY Award for their 2012 album, Uncaged. "The GRAMMYs are the greatest achievement that you can get in music, so we're very very excited to be a part of it and to be welcomed in."

We can expect many milestones in Zac Brown Band's future, including some new music coming your way soon! Brown says this album is "a good placeholder until [the band] puts out a big record next year." Until then, grab yourself a copy of Greatest Hits So Far..., available in stores and online now!
