Ryan Cabrera has announced details of the much-anticipated follow-up to last year's platinum-selling label debut, 'TAKE IT ALL AWAY.' Entitled 'YOU STAND WATCHING,' the new album is slated to arrive in stores on September 20th.

'Shine On,' the just-released first single from YOU STAND WATCHING, is already hitting radio waves across the U.S., and yesterday Ryan premiered the companion video on MTV's Total Request Live.

YOU STAND WATCHING finds the 23-year-old singer/songwriter further refining his winning pop-rock sound. Highlighted by such tracks as the soaring 'Photo,' the alt-rockin' 'Hit Me With Your Light,' the Latin-tinged 'Our Story,' and the moving ballad 'It's You,' the set is marked by captivating hooks, instantly engaging melodies, and Ryan's unaffected vocals. Self-produced, the album was recorded over a three-week period last June, with Cabrera taking a spontaneous and organic tack towards breathing life into his new songs.

'Whatever came out, came out,' Ryan says. 'I didn't want to spend ten years producing a record. I wanted the songs to be themselves, instead of worrying about all this crazy slickster production. I was interested in maintaining the dignity and the hearts of the songs, letting them breathe and become what they are.'
