A little over 2 years ago, Simple Plan started "The Simple Plan Foundation", to raise money and give back to those in need. Last week, at a press conference in Montreal, the foundation announced their first donations, totaling over $100,000. The guys also announced their first fund raising event, a benefit acoustic concert, as well as a brunch, this coming august.
